The Ascent Elevated Seat is designed to accommodate a wide range of body shapes and levels of mobility. The seat is positioned 50cm above the floor, an optimal height for ergonomically transferring body weight away from the spine as patients sit down and rise to their feet again. Although the Elevated Seat is slightly higher than those on either side, the height of the backrest remains in proportion, blending seamlessly with the rest of the series. The Elevated Seat is available for both the single- and double-side versions of the Ascent healthcare solution and compatible with both versions of the Elevated Accessibility Transition armrest.

Caregiving and comfort go hand-in-hand. We made the standard wooden seats in the Ascent healthcare solution comfortable to sit on and complement them with upholstered padding when cushion-like comfort is required. The padding is made from soft Cocolok coconut fibres, then upholstered in smooth, wipe-clean, protected leather. The seat cushion responds to body weight and posture, soothing patients who may be experiencing discomfort associated with post-operative recovery, third-trimester pregnancy or chronic pain.

Inspired by natural shapes, the Ascent Elevated Table is a multipurpose surface that provides space to enjoy refreshments, use digital devices or interact with small items. The table is installed at an optimal height for pairing with the Ascent Elevated Seat. Made from wood coated with a natural wax oil finish, the surface withstands normal wear-and-tear, repels spills and resists staining.

The Ascent Charger fits between multiple slats of Ascent Back, Ascent Double Back, Ascent Double Bench, and Ascent Double Rise. The only position that doesn't fit is where two modules connect.
