Somewhere between the moss and the sky
Moving through a forest affects us. The scent of moss rises from the ground, something earthy and full. We slow down. We start to notice the world around us. The light diffuses. The sounds soften. The body settles.
Arcio brings the sense of this indoors.
We designed Arcio to work with the rest of the environment. Suspended at varying heights, it determines how shared spaces are perceived. Placed in a cluster, it offers cohesion. The moss absorbs sounds and provides calm within a space that might otherwise feel formless.
When combined with our other series, Arcio completes the vertical dimension of a space, connecting the floor and ceiling into a richer environment.
Acoustic performance, built in
Arcio integrates a powder-coated, sleek metal framing with reindeer moss, a material that naturally has an airy texture, efficient at absorbing sound. In busy open spaces, sound matters. Arcio adds quiet where there is movement, and calm where there is noise.
A new dimension of our portfolio
Designed to be combined with our existing series, Arcio extends the spatial logic of the portfolio. Anchored above while echoing spatial elements below, it expands the space we inhabit to its full height.
Colour options for distinct spaces
Available in a range of colours, Arcio adapts to the identity of each project. Whether used as a quiet complement or a deliberate contrast, it can be configured to make a space unmistakably its own.
Materials that perform over time
The moss is hand-harvested in Sweden and Norway, responsibly sourced and relatively fast-growing, with up to 20% of the growing area harvested every five to six years without affecting the regeneration and surrounding environment. It is preserved using a water-based process.
The result is a maintenance-free product. Dust-repellent by nature. Hygroscopic, it adjusts to ambient humidity and returns to softness as conditions change.
