Ascent Seating Series
As its name suggests, Ascent is a seating system that elevates public space furniture to new heights. The series was designed in consultation with architects and planners to create a flexible, modular system that could change and adapt as its surroundings evolve. Designed with placemaking in mind, Ascent’s soft contours, smooth textures, and sustainable wood make public space interiors warmer and more welcoming.
Ascent received the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2021.

Sustainability
Ascent Series is designed and developed to support a longer use cycle. The Ascent toolbox contains several individual modules that can be put together to different configurations, making it possible to change a space when needed by simply reconfiguring the modules. Ascent is designed with interfaces that take future design elements into consideration, making the series continuously evolving and up to date. Influenced by the aesthetics of nature, Ascent is designed for being timeless, rather than focusing on trends and contemporary design. As sustainability and circularity are guiding our work at Green, the choice of materials, chemicals, and the design itself follow these principles already in the design process and other processes going forward.
100% certified sourced wood from responsible forestry
70% – 95% recycled steel. Minimum 75% recycled aluminum
Wood parts: hard wax oil with 0% VOC and zero chemicals on the SIN-list
Metal parts: powder coating with zero chemicals on the SIN-list
Non-toxic adhesive, unclassified according to 1272/2008 [CLP/GHS]
Swedish production, following strict regulations on human rights, work environment, and anti-corruption
Each part can be replaced individually for easy maintenance during the product’s life cycle.
Lifecycle of +15 years. At the end of the lifecycle, all parts can be separated to material level and recycled

Invite the visitor for a place to sit, feel good, and take in their surroundings with the joy of shops and cafe's.
